At the DIG meeting on Dec 5th, Rich Rosen presented his analysis of what Franklin County's financial picture could potentially look like if our community leaders and stakeholders will recognize the importance of identifying an adequate amount of industrial land to be developed over 30 years in the comprehensive plan. Rich explained the process of how he arrived at estimating the number of acres to be used for industrial growth based on various population growth rates for Franklin County and the incremental tax contributions.
Attached is Rich's presentation that will aid in becoming knowledgeable about how industrial development can help grow Frankfort's population, good paying jobs, quality of life amenities and taxes to help meet our community's unmet needs.
