Frankfort is encouraging renovation of neglected properties

At the March DIG meeting on Tuesday, March 5th, Eric Cockley, Director of Planning & Community Development discussed an ordinance recently passed by the City of Frankfort that empowers developers and builders to acquire neglected and abandoned homes, aiming to renovate these properties and elevate them to livable standards. An explanation of the application process and the criteria used to qualify participation can be found in Eric’s presentation.
